Scott's G-Vent system is the most advanced helmet venting system available and reduces goggle fogging while increasing helmet airflow. Intake vents placed on the helmet visor, just above the goggle, pull air through the goggle frame, removing stagnant air known to be the cause of goggle fogging. Stagnant air is then channeled away using exhaust vents located on top of the helmet. The result is a venting system that allows your goggle and helmet to breath more efficiently.
The Micro Rotary Adjustment System (M-R.A.S) offers unparalleled adjustment, comfort and stability. An automatic locking system, ensures that the desired helmet fit is held securely. The Micro Rotary Adjustment System (MR.A.S) offers uniform comfort throughout the helmet (270° head wrap). With an oversized molded wheel, the M-R.A.S Fit System makes adjusting with one hand easy.
ABS construction provides optimal strength, shock absorption and maximum durability, while a unique and carefully engineered EPS liner provides comfort and added protection.
During the in-mold manufacturing process, the outer shell of polycarbonate material is fused with the helmet's impact absorbent foam liner, creating a super lightweight outer shell. With reduced weight and bulk surrounding the head, in-mold helmets are more comfortable than traditional helmets.

The sport of skiing was revolutionized with a technical innovation from Ed Scott, a talented engineer and ski racer living in Sun Valley, Idaho. Ed Scott's invention of the first tapered aluminium ski pole immediately replaced the sport's existing use of bamboo and steel. That revolutionary invention launched a new brand, SCOTT, and fundamentally positioned Scott as a technical product leader in the skiing market. Ed Scott's initial vision of technical innovation would serve as the cornerstone company philosophy as the brand matured and expanded to new markets.
In 1968, SCOTT entered the ski goggle market, a market the brand would lead for the next 35 years as a result of continuous product innovation and an unparalleled commitment to optical engineering.
