How Karün Eyewear tells their brand Story. Fishing nets used for the Ocean Collection make up an estimated 10% of the ocean plastic pollution , and affect local villages on the Southern coast of Chile. Karün Eyewear, working with local fishing communities, the nets are collected through Bureos Net+Positiva program. By participating to the program, local fishermen not only help to prevent ocean pollution, but empower the development of their entire community.  After being recycled in pellets, this new raw material is turned into premium frames, using the latest technology available in the eyewear industry. Combined with polarized Carl-Zeiss lenses, these sunglasses provide a true qualitative visual experience.
